Combat climate change through technology


TCM is a joint venture between Gassnova (on behalf of the Norwegian state), Equinor, Shell and Total.

The owners and their shares:

Gassnova        77.5 %
Equinor             7.5 %
Shell                 7.5 %
Total                 7.5 %

TCM DA has its own management, which is responsible for operations and the testing programmes.

TCM is owned by potential end users of the CO2 capture technology. The goal is to bring in additional owners

TCM’s partners have made a clear commitment to technology improvement and invested 6 billion Norwegian kroner for the construction and development of the technology centre.

Designed to capture about 100,000 tonnes per year of CO2, the project will be the largest demonstration of CO2 capture technologies to date.
